Capsule Book, Curatorial Volume. 1: Leaders in Contemporary Art

ArtsHelp partnered with Australian print publication Capsules Book to curate artists for Curatorial Vol.1: Leaders in Contemporary Art.

Capsules Book fosters connections between businesses and freelance creatives through their creative directories. This unique book publishing boutique publishes the work, biography, and contact information of select artists, which are then distributed free-of-charge to global businesses, agencies, and brands looking to hire artists for creative projects.

Combining creative teams and industry knowledge, the collaboration between ArtsHelp and Capsules Book produced Curatorial Vol.1. Sophie Brussaux, founder and current Artistic Director of ArtsHelp, helped lead the search for emerging, talented contemporary visual artists around the world to contribute to the creative directory. The overall project also highlighted ArtsHelp’s central goals to promote an international, collaborative artistic community, and aided in the recognition of many talented emerging artists. Brussaux played a large role in curating the directory, and was even a featured artist herself.

The release of Curatorial Vol.1 proved a success for both organizations. The book is currently sold out on the Capsules Book website. In alignment with their focus on charity projects, Capsules Book pledged to donate all proceeds to Book Aid International.
